Roland Belgrave Vintage Photography Ltd

Roland Belgrave specialises in vintage photographs, primarily those produced

between the 1840s and the early 1900s. His passion is early travel and

exploration, although he is also interested in all exotic and eclectic early vintage

photography that might now be considered out of the ordinary.

He has been dealing for more than 25 years and over the past four years has

increasingly handled contemporary photography with an emphasis on climate

change and the environment. The focus of his exhibtion at LAPADA 2024

 is a solo show by BAUD POSTMA.

Roland Belgrave has always exhibited at major book and photographic fairs

globally, for the first 10 years with Bernard Shapero Rare Books and, since

then, alone.

He has sold to many major institutional collections globally and has also

helped form a number of private collections both in the United Kingdom and

internationally. He has also appraised a number of large national collections

of 19th century photography.
